State Sen. Greg Gregory has been appointed to a bipartisan committee that will investigate the scuttled nuclear reactor construction project in Fairfield County. The Lancaster Republican is one of 12 senators selected last week by Senate President Pro Tem Hugh Leatherman. The committee is co-chaired by Majority Leader Shane Massey (R-Edgefield) and Minority Leader Nikki Setzler (D-Lexington). Gregory called the turmoil that surrounds the decision to abandon the expansion of the V.C.
