Retired from one career, they are just as stone-faced in their second while wearing their own clothes to exemplify the fashion of the Soviet era. To go to a museum to see pictures of women watching over the fine art is unusual, but even more so is the way that the pictures are displayed. Museum guards follows a previous body of work called "Sentry," in which he photographed the tops of the heads of receptionists sitting behind the counters in New York art galleries.
