Buckingham Cos., an Indianapolis-based real estate company, has purchased more than seven acres of property in Oakley to build an upscale apartment development. John Cumming, senior vice president of development operations for Buckingham, said the company has been keeping an eye on the Cincinnati market and Oakley fits the profile for projects it prefers to create. “An urban in-fill neighborhood location works well for the type of projects we do,” Cumming told me.
