Firefighters are investigating a puddle containing an unknown chemical substance in south Houston, authorities said. Callers reported a puddle containing an unknown chemical substance on the ground outside of a white building in 4700 Griggs around 4:38 p.m. Houston Fire Department spokesman Capt. Ruy Lozano said callers reported that the substance was causing eye irritation. A HFD Hazmat is at the scene.
