Hispanic Republican strategist Ana Navarro blasted Rep. Steve King (R-IA) on Sunday and suggested that he might want to “get some therapy for his melon fixation” after the congressman said that many undocumented immigrants had “calves the size of cantaloupes” because they were drug runners. During a panel segment on Meet the Press, NBC’s David Gregory told King that his assertion that many immigrations had “calves the size of cantaloupes because they’ve been hauling 75 pounds of marijuana across the desert” had been debunked. “My numbers have not been debunked,” King insisted.
