Holiday Shoppers Get A Head Start On Thanksgiving

(NEW YORK) — Black Friday used to kick off the holiday shopping season, but now Thanksgiving Day is the new tradition for some shoppers. About an hour before the 6 p.m. opening at Macy’s in New York’s Herald Square, about 100 people lined up. An hour and a half before the Toys R Us in New York’s Times Square opened at 5 p.m., about 40 people stood in line.
