House Gop Repackages Election-year Bills

WASHINGTON (AP) — The House has approved an election-year package of legislation to cut taxes, reduce regulations and boost energy production, including approval of the Keystone XL oil pipeline. The measures adopted Thursday had already been passed by the Republican-controlled House as separate legislation, but stalled in the Democratic-controlled Senate. The bills are unlikely to be taken up in the Senate, and they face veto threats from the White House.Read more on NewsOK.com
