There’s a new poster for Man of Steel, which you can see below. This one features Russell Crowe as Jor-El. The film follows a young boy who learns that he has extraordinary powers and is not of this Earth. As a young man, he journeys to discover where he came from and what he was sent here to do. But the hero in him must emerge if he is to save the world from annihilation and become the symbol of hope for all mankind. Man of Steel will hit theaters on June 14, 2013.   SOURCE: Facebook

Paul Verhoeven has stated that he’d like to direct Arnold Schwarzenegger in The Legend of Conan. The two previously worked together on the original Total Recall, with great results. Here’s Verhoeven: “If they asked me, I’d certainly love to – let’s put it that way. But I don’t know what the script is. I don’t know what Arnold wants. I’m a big fan in fact of Conan. That’s a great movie and I found that the composer, Basil Poledouris, basically inspired many of my movies [the soundtracks] like Arnold, Robocop, Starship Troopers and Total Recall. The score of Conan is great. The style of editing that (John) Milius used was very beautiful, and Arnold does a great job. He was really the perfect choice.” There’s no director yet. Hell, the script isn’t even finished, but given their past working relationship I suppose it’s not out of the question. What do you think? Is Verhoeven right for Legend of Conan? Jamie Foxx stepped behind the camera in Brooklyn, New York last week as Director for Canon’s “Project Imaginat10n.” Starring Tyrin Turner, a long-time friend and star of cult classic, Menace II Society and Nichole Galicia, from Django Unchained, Jamie was a hands-on director. And he had some great visitors on set – Ron Howard, his mentor on the project, David West from the Pacers and tons of fans including the Sanitation Department that was across the street on the last day of filming. The other celebrity directors for Project Imaginat10n include Eva Longoria, James Murphy, Biz Stone and Georgina Chapman and consumers can now take part in the same creative experience. Filmmakers of all skill levels can select from the same pool of 91 winning photos to showcase their creativity and storytelling abilities by taking a seat in the director’s chair. There’s a new trailer for The Wolverine that won’t hit the web until tomorrow. In the mean time we have two new posters, which you can see below. Based on the celebrated comic book arc, The Wolverine finds Logan, the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed. James Mangold directed the film from a screenplay written by Christopher McQuarrie, and Mark Bomback. The Wolverine is due to hit theaters on July 26, 2013.   SOURCE: Fox
