Deadline reports that Arash Amel was given the task of writing the screenplay for a new I Am Legend movie for Warner Bros. The new movie was previously rumored to be a prequel since, you know, Will Smith's character apparently died at the end of the 2007 movie, but Deadline says WB is no longer using that term to describe the movie.
