Moving the Sacramento Zoo to the former Sleep Train Arena land in North Natomas could become a little easier with a move by the Sacramento City Council Tuesday. On its consent agenda, the City Council has an item affirming the city’s ability to use transient-occupancy taxes generated in North Natomas for eligible projects at the former arena site. City staff did not return messages left Friday about the item.
