KINGSPORT — The Reds’ No. 1 draft pick lived up to his billing Thursday. Jonathan India was hitless in his first 16 at-bats with Greeneville. However, the No. 5 overall pick in this year’s Major League Baseball draft made some noise with his bat against the Kingsport Mets in the Reds’ 5-4 win at Hunter Wright Stadium. BREAKING THE SLUMP India, who did walk six times in his first 16 plate appearances at Greeneville (7-14), finished 3-for-4 with a walk and three RBIs in the Reds’ win. The 21-year-old India, from Coral Springs, Fla., doubled in the first inning, drilled a two-run home run over the right-field fence in the third inning and singled and drove in two more runs in the fourth.
