The 98 acrylic panels of the five-foot-wide by seven-foot-tall ION2 prototype is controlled by a micro-servo motor that rotates each individual panel in response to external input and pre-programmed patterns. A Microsoft Kinect and a panel of 98 buttons create the two inputs to the system by picking up activity outside the storefront.
