Iowa saw a drastic decrease in the number new COVID-19 cases reported Monday, continuing the downward trend seen over the weekend, According to data from the Iowa Department of Public Health, the state reported 659 new cases in the 24-hour period ending at 11 a.m. Monday, a significant decrease from the 834 new cases reported in the 24-hour period ending at 11 a.m.
