A public meeting titled “Healthy Babies — A Community Conversation: Infant Mortality and Health Equity” will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at the Edward Waters College Milne Auditorium at 1658 Kings Road. The Florida Department of Health, Department of Children and Families and Healthy Start Coalition will host the event in support of Florida Healthy Babies, a statewide initiative to influence and reduce racial differences in infant deaths. read more
