Oscar nominee Joaquin Phoenix is reportedly in talks to play the title role in Marvel Studios' Doctor Strange movie. According to both TheWrap and Variety, the Her and Gladiator actor is in early talks for the role of the neurosurgeon-turned-Sorcerer Supreme, but both outlets stress that a deal is far from finalized. Marvel Studios will give fans a look at The Avengers: Age of Ultron at Comic-Con on Saturday, during which time studio boss Kevin Feige is expected to make official announcements on upcoming Marvel films, including Doctor Strange.
