Five games into the season, second-year Avalanche forward J.T. Compher suffered a concussion, suddenly putting a halt to a year with with so much promise. Compher respects how the team treated his concussion, an injury that has no time-table on when you can play again. “It tests your patience a little bit,” Compher said.
