In 1995, the 2000 A.D. anti-hero Judge Dredd was brought to the big screen in the form of Sylvester Stallone, and it bombed pretty badly after being trashed by critics. It was generally known to be one of the worst comic book adaptations in a decade rife with them.
Roughly two months ago, it was announced that 28 Days Later writer Alex Garland was tackling the screenplay for another attempt at a Dredd movie for DNA Films, and over the weekend, comic artist Mark Simpson who draws under the pen name "Jock" mentioned the fact that he has a meeting to talk about the Judge Dredd movie today.
