DANVILLE, Va. — The final week and a half of the Appalachian League season is going to be exciting for the Kingsport Mets. They added to the drama Monday night. Gregory Guerrero and Brett Baty hit home runs and Andres German threw in a strong pitching performance as Kingsport defeated the Danville Braves 8-2 at Dan Daniel Memorial Park. The Mets remained in third place in the Appalachian League West Division, one game behind Johnson City and a half a game behind Bristol.
