Steven Spielberg's regular cohort, producer Kathleen Kennedy, is taking on another job. Kennedy is set to become co-chairman of Lucasfilm with founder George Lucas says Screen Daily. The move allows Lucas to go forward with his previously announced retirement plans, though he will remain onboard as CEO and co-chair while Micheline Chau remains as President and COO. As a result of the move though, Kennedy will step down from her role at The Kennedy/Marshall Company and will shift her responsibilities to partner Frank Marshall.
