After years of resistance from the country, Kazakhstan has embraced Borat's signature phrase, "very nice." Kazakhstan has not been the biggest fan of Sacha Baron Cohen's Borat character, who is from the country and is depicted in an extremely satirical and controversial way. Considering that Cohen's depiction of someone from Kazakhstan is anti-Semitic and vulgar amongst many other less-than-positive traits, it makes sense that country officials have rejected Borat.
