DENVER (AP) — Matt Kemp had three hits and four RBIs and the San Diego Padres scored nine runs in the first two innings of a 14-3 rout of the Colorado Rockies on Monday night. Derek Norris had three of San Diego's 17 hits, Will Venable homered and Odrisamer Despaigne got his first major league hit to help the Padres win for the fifth time in six games. The left-hander missed the first two weeks of the season with a left groin strain and was activated from the disabled list before the game. The first four Padres batters got hits, and Yonder Alonso's two-run single capped the their best first inning since scoring five at Cincinnati on July 29, 2009. Kennedy, who was put on the 15-day disabled list with a hamstring injury on April 10, will rejoin the team Tuesday in Denver.
