It's an unlikely defense mechanism, but 10-year-old Willie Myrick from Atlanta's nonstop gospel singing was enough to deter his kidnapper from holding him hostage. Authorities say Willie Myrick, who was nine at the time, was snatched in the driveway of his home in early April. WXIA-TV reports that while Willie was being driven around for three hours, he kept singing the gospel song “Every Praise.” The boy’s singing was so annoying to his kidnapper, he pulled over and threw him out of the car.
