KINGSPORT — A man who allegedly stabbed a 19-year-old nearly three months ago at a Model City apartment complex has been taken into custody by police in New York. According to the Kingsport Police Department, Darius D. Woodbury, 24, was apprehended Wednesday in Sleepy Hollow Village. He remains jailed in Westchester County, New York, and is awaiting extradition to Tennessee. Woodbury, 1741 McGee St., Kingsport, had an active warrant for attempted second-degree murder.
