Orange County officials said Friday that additional flu testing will be done in Kiryas Joel to confirm an outbreak that initial tests suggest had stricken 1,370 people in the village in one month.Dr. Jennifer Roman, who was appointed county health commissioner on Friday, said in an emailed statement that county officials contacted the state Health Department this week after learning that a large number of people in Kiryas Joel had flu-like symptoms.
