Thanks to a $40,320 grant from the Ohio Department of Higher Education, some hard-working Lakeland Community College biotechnology students will be eligible for scholarships to cover their tuition and fees.The program is called Choose Ohio First and is aimed at helping students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine - or STEMM, its associated web page shows.
