Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway has confirmed two trains were involved in an incident that has caused a large fire at the eastern edge of the town of Panhandle. The incident was reported at 8:40 a.m. Two trains appear to have collided and derailed. There is a large amount of debris at the scene about five miles east of town near U.S.
