PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The Latest on the Democratic National Convention (all times EDT): President Barack Obama says he worries about a President Donald Trump who would lack "basic knowledge about the world" and has shown no interest in learning more about it. Without mentioning Trump by name, Obama added the Republican presidential nominee doesn't seem to know much about nuclear weapons, where countries are or the differences between the Sunni and Shiite branches of the Muslim religion. Shortly after Hillary Clinton formally captured the Democratic nomination and declared the glass ceiling cracked and nearly shattered, her husband, ex-President Bill Clinton delivered an expansive and passionate testimonial Tuesday night. Tonight, the current president is joining her party — for it is her party now — in making the case to the nation for electing the former first lady, senator and secretary of state as the first woman to occupy the Oval Office.
