Lawmakers optimistic about tax cut deal

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Senior lawmakers said on Sunday they were optimistic about striking a deal to extend Bush-era tax cuts for all taxpayers and continue emergency jobless aid for millions of long-term unemployed Americans.
