A 28-year-old Houston man whose father is a deputy constable has filed a lawsuit claiming he was beaten unconscious by two jailers at the Harris County jail after being arrested on a minor trespassing charge. Michael Alaniz was denied medical treatment for more than a day and was eventually diagnosed with a concussion and a broken nose, according to the lawsuit.
