In the upcoming election on March 27, I am heartened to see so many women running for seats on the top three elected Boards in Winchester. While Town Meeting is nearly gender-balanced, that has not been the case for all our elected positions. I am delighted that a women will, based on the numbers, be elected to the Board of Selectmen, Planning Board and School Committee this year.In particular, I enthusiastically support Zeina Marchant for School Committee.
