ATLANTA — Motorists may soon have to move over one lane or slow down when passing workers tending to telephone lines, cable-television, electricity or buried utilities under legislation the House passed Monday. House Bill 767 would add utility vehicles and workers to the list in the law requiring a one-lane buffer for law-enforcement vehicles, ambulances, wreckers and garbage trucks.
