A Klein Independent School District student is facing expulsion after allegedly bringing a gun to school, officials said Thursday. A tip from a student to administrators at Klein Forest High School lead to the search of the campus at 11400 Misty Valley and the discovery of a loaded pistol, officials said. In a statement released Thursday, district officials said "appropriate student disciplinary action" has been taken but because of privacy issues could not elaborate. However, state law mandates expulsion if a student is in possession of a firearm on school grounds.
