Local Nurse Helps Provide Medical Assistance To Those Impacted By Hurricane Irma

Doris Neumeyer, a nurse from Washington Township, has returned to Michigan after assisting with federal medical response to Hurricane Irma as part of the National Disaster Medical System (NDMS). She is a member of an NDMS Disaster Medical Assistance Team, which operated a mobile medical unit in the Florida Keys and supported temporary care sites in the state along with U.
