By Paul Monies Business Writer pmonies@oklahoman.comLegislation that would allow longer horizontal drilling in nonshale formations in Oklahoma advanced out of the Senate this week, with one energy industry group previously split internally on the issue announcing its position on Thursday. The Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association said its board of directors voted earlier this week to support an extended-lateral bill.Read more on NewsOK.com
