Most of the previous comments on long term house sitting are spot on. Getting short term assignments for up to a month is comparatively easy, though if travelling overseas, the difficulty is where to stay in the inevitable gaps between bookings. My wife and I run an online business so can work from anywhere that has good WiFi but have to stay UK based for now.
