Maine Town Administrator Resigns, Cites ‘hostile Work Environment’

CANTON — The town administrator, citing lack of support and a hostile work environment, has resigned. Selectmen accepted the written resignation of Scotty Kilbreth during an emergency meeting Thursday. Kilbreth’s letter said he “no longer (has) confidence in the majority of the Board of Selectmen to do what is right for the town. “Also, the lack of support for me is evident,” he wrote.
