The Maine Warden Service and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service are offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a person who mortally injured a young bald eagle in a remote corner of Penobscot County northeast of Baxter State Park. The juvenile eagle was discovered badly wounded on the Whitehorse Road in T7-R7 WELS on the afternoon of Oct.
