FROM STAFF REPORTSA man accused of killing a woman last month during a shoot-out near a southeast Oklahoma City motel has been charged with murder and eight other felonies. Shane Leon Rhea, 40, was charged Friday in Oklahoma County District Court with first-degree murder, four counts of shooting with intent to kill, two counts of pointing a firearm at another, assault and battery with a deadly weapon and kidnapping. He is accused of killing Samantha Monden, 30, of Lexington. He has previously been convicted in Oklahoma County on 11 counts, including five second-degree burglary convictions, court records show. He was sentenced to four years in prison after pleading guilty to concealing stolen property in November 2012, but was released from prison in June, court and corrections records show.Read more on NewsOK.com
