A man died Saturday morning when his van ran off the road and ricocheted into several objects. About 10 a.m., a white Ford van traveling south in the 2800 block of Hardy Road drifted out its lane, said Houston Police Department Spokesman John Cannon. The van struck a parked car, a fence and a tree before coming to a stop. Paramedics declared the driver dead at the scene. The incident remains under investigation.
