Man Gets 15 Years For Norwalk Home Invasion

STAMFORD-A Bridgeport man was sentenced to 15 years in jail for breaking into his Norwalk girlfriend’s home and severely beating the woman and breaking several bones in her face. Five weeks after a Stamford jury found Nector Marrero guilty of the December 2015 home invasion, burglary and second-degree assault, he was sentenced by Judge Gary White at the Stamford courthouse late Friday morning. “What I see is a violent individual who has shown no remorse for his viscous and terrible assault on the victim,” White said.
