For nine years a Texas gentleman was making a fortune with a fajita scam. 53-year-old Gilberto Escaramilla earned a total of $1.2-million by ordering hundreds of pounds of fajitas every day for the Juvenile Justice Department that he worked for. He would then intercept the order and sell the fajitas to his own outside customers. His scheme might have continued for another nine years or more, but he was busted last summer when he missed a day of work.
