A Harris County jury handed down a life sentence Tuesday to a man whose earlier 40-year prison term following a conviction in the 2010 shooting death of his neighbor was thrown out by an appellate court. Raul Rodriguez, 50, was convicted last week for shooting elementary school teacher Kelly Danaher, 36, while complaining about a loud party in their rural north Harris County neighborhood.
