Man Killed Pushing Broken-down Minivan Off U.s. 59

The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. on the 10300 block of the Eastex Freeway, near Saunders, police said, explaining that a 32-year-old Hispanic man was trying to push his disabled Honda minivan out of a moving lane of traffic onto the shoulder when he was struck and killed by a 36-year-old man driving a Toyota van.
