A 76-year-old man taken to the hospital in critical condition Wednesday morning after being pulled from his burning Seattle home has died of his injuries, according to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office. Crews pulled Wade Purcell from his home about 2 a.m. at 1816 S. Lane St. near Judkins Park while firefighters tackled the blaze that engulfed him.
