Dozens of people from federal and state agencies on Tuesday rescued a 10-foot-long manatee trapped in the perilously cold water of Trinity Bay, hundreds of miles from its Florida home. Garrett flew in late Monday night to guide the rescue operation for the manatee, a member of an endangered species.
