Mchenry County College Offering Scholarships For Spring Semester

CRYSTAL LAKE – Fifty-three scholarships worth a total of $66,000 are available to McHenry County College students for the upcoming spring semester through the Friends of MCC Foundation. A variety of general and specialized scholarships are up for grabs. They vary in amount and type of award, and include those based on need, merit and/or program of study, according to a news release from MCC. In addition to several general scholarships available, other specialized scholarships are available in accounting, anthropology, art, athletics, business, construction management, culinary, cultural diversity, diversity, education/early childhood education, first generation, fitness instructor training, GED, health care, horticulture/plant science, humanities, journalism/writing, manufacturing/engineering, music, nursing, special needs and STEM, as well as veterans and Women in College.
