The city of Mentor hopes to shed new light on its Old Village area.City leaders recently discussed a proposal to invest an estimated $2.46 million in installing 96 period light fixtures along part of Route 20 and Route 615. The Old Village lighting project consists of two phases:• Phase 1 -- 36 poles, arms and light fixtures installed on Route 615 from Route 84 to Route 20, and on Route 20 from Route 615 to Cadle Avenue.
