Mercedes-Benz is expected to hire almost 1,000 employees next year that will be needed when its Tuscaloosa plant begins producing the C-Class sedan. According to al.com, the car is expected to officially join the German automaker's Alabama assembly lines in early 2014. The plant is also expanding and adding equipment for the production of the vehicle.
