Sewage spill at Fourteen Mile SloughSTOCKTON — An overflowing city sewer line released 15,000 gallons of sewage earlier this week into Fourteen Mile Slough in northwest Stockton, forcing city officials to place signs warning residents not to swim or fish in the area.The spill was reported about 8:45 a.m. Tuesday and was capped by 9:15 a.m., city spokeswoman Connie Cochran said Thursday.The city will test the water next week to make sure it is [...]
