Metro Denver residents may be flocking to see the Monet exhibit, but when it comes to the vehicles they own, they largely favor monochrome. Greyscale vehicles account for 77.1% of the total in the U.S. and 77% in metro Denver, according to a survey of 9 million vehicles on the road by iSeeCars.com. Black and white vie for the most popular color in states and cities across the country, with metro Denver residents showing a slight preference for white vehicles, despite the blank canvas that color offers for the grit and grime that accumulates from driving on snowy roads. About 23.9% of the 9 million cars on the road that iSeeCars.com examined were white, while 23.2% were black.
